R\u00f6hlig Logistics en Penske Logistics hebben een nieuw joint venture voor contractlogistiek opgericht, genaamd Rohlig Penske Logistics GmbH, dat voornamelijk actief is in Duitsland en Nederland. Het nieuw opgerichte bedrijf bouwt voort op een geschiedenis van succesvolle samenwerking tussen de twee organisaties, die gezamenlijke klanten in Europa bedienen. Het doel van het joint venture is de uitbreiding naar andere West-Europese landen.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

(Bremen\/Roosendaal) Hylton Gray, CEO Zeevracht, Luchtvracht, Contractlogistiek & Verkoop bij R\u00f6hlig Logistics, legt uit: \u201eDit joint venture is een nieuwe mijlpaal in de groei van R\u00f6hlig Logistics. We zien in dit joint venture tussen R\u00f6hlig en Penske groot potentieel, dat onze aanwezigheid in Europa zal vergroten en onze klanten in de EU nog meer flexibiliteit zal bieden.”<\/p>\n

Het nieuwe joint venture omvat 55.000 m\u00b2 extra opslagruimte, transportmanagement en e-commerce-logistiek met plannen om verdere groei te versnellen, operationele synergie\u00ebn te benutten en het serviceniveau voor potenti\u00eble en gezamenlijke klanten in Europa te verbeteren.<\/p>\n

“We hebben al vele jaren een uitstekende samenwerking met R\u00f6hlig Logistics om gezamenlijke klanten in de automobiel-, voedsel- en productie-industrie te bedienen,” zei Bill Scroggie, Senior Vice President, Internationale Operaties bij Penske Logistics. “Dit nieuwe bedrijf biedt onze gezamenlijke klanten extra schaalbaarheid, serviceniveau en biedt beide bedrijven extra groeikansen in Europa.”<\/p>\n

Transactie op 31 december 2021 afgerond<\/strong><\/h5>\n

De nieuwe zakelijke eenheid R\u00f6hlig Penske Logistics GmbH wordt voor 80% gehouden en ge\u00ebxploiteerd door R\u00f6hlig Logistics en voor 20% door Penske Logistics. Dit was een particuliere transactie en financi\u00eble details zijn niet bekendgemaakt. De partijen hebben de transactie op 31 december 2021 voltooid. De meer dan 80 medewerkers van Penske Logistics Europe blijven medewerkers van het Nederlandse bedrijf, dat in de toekomst voor 100% in eigendom zal zijn van R\u00f6hlig Penske Logistics GmbH.<\/p>\n
