Het in het Sauerland gevestigde bedrijf M. Westermann & Co. GmbH maakt sinds 1997 gebruik van het Warehouse Management System ProStore\u00ae van TEAM GmbH uit Paderborn. Westermann werd in 1867 opgericht als familiebedrijf en kan terugkijken op een lange bedrijfs geschiedenis. Op de vandaag de dag hypermoderne productielocatie in Arnsberg zijn 120 medewerkers werkzaam, evenveel als in de dochteronderneming in Schwarzenberg.<\/p>\n

(Paderborn\/Arnsberg) Onder het merk ‘WESCO’ worden al meer dan 100 jaar kwalitatief hoogwaardige gebruiksvoorwerpen uit de gebieden afvalverzameling, keuken- en badkameraccessoires en brooddozen geproduceerd en in meer dan 50 landen wereldwijd verkocht. De WESCO-producten, vervaardigd uit hoogwaardig poedercoated of verzinkt staal en roestvrij staal, onderscheiden zich door hun herkenbare ontwerp en hoge functionaliteit. Naast het assortiment huishoudelijke artikelen en keukenapparatuur behoren tegenwoordig ook buitenkeukens tot het programma.<\/p>\n

De meubelstukken van de serie ‘alumobil’ worden geproduceerd op de locatie Schwarzenberg, de premium modules worden op bestelling vervaardigd op de locatie Arnsberg.<\/p>\n

Stapsgewijze update naar de nieuwste versie<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Westermann maakt op de locatie Arnsberg al sinds 1997 gebruik van het Warehouse Management System ProStore\u00ae van het Paderborn IT-bedrijf TEAM GmbH. De toenmalige versie werd in 2009 ge\u00fcpdatet en gemoderniseerd, evenals functioneel uitgebreid. Nu heeft Westermann TEAM GmbH de opdracht gegeven om ProStore\u00ae te migreren naar de huidige versie 10.10.<\/p>\n

ProStore\u00ae 10 is een toekomstbestendige, modulaire en browsergebaseerde applicatie en cre\u00ebert de optimale voorwaarden voor de implementatie van een Logistiek 4.0-concept. Bij Westermann zal de invoering van ProStore\u00ae in fasen plaatsvinden.<\/p>\n

Start met voorraadbeheer en voorraadbeheer<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Fase 1 dekt de bestaande ProStore\u00ae-functionaliteiten met voorraadbeheer en voorraadbeheer, de bevoorrading van de orderpickgebieden en andere dwarsfuncties zoals stamgegevens, analyses en inventaris. Bovendien vindt de integratie van een bestaande externe opslagplaats plaats, evenals een dienstverlener die fungeert als verlengde werkbank voor Westermann & Co.<\/p>\n

In fase 2 worden de functionele gebieden orderbeheer, orderpicking, verpakking en verzending ge\u00efntroduceerd, die tot nu toe via het bestaande ERP-systeem MAPICS zijn afgebeeld. Hiervoor worden de afzonderlijke leveringsopdrachten in de toekomst van MAPICS naar ProStore\u00ae overgedragen.<\/p>\n

Upgrade naar digitalisering<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Aan de hand van de leveringsopdrachten worden aan de ProStore\u00ae-zijde de bijbehorende orderpickopdrachten gegenereerd. Afhankelijk van het type opdracht worden verschillende pickingmethoden zoals single- en multi-order-picking, pick&pack, een tweestaps picking en negatieve picking toegepast. De picking wordt papierloos uitgevoerd met behulp van mobiele terminals op basis van WLAN.<\/p>\n

Daarnaast worden in fase 2 extra functionaliteiten met ProStore\u00ae ge\u00efntroduceerd, zoals Value Added Services, een terughaal-picking voor retourartikelen, de bevoorrading van de productie met benodigde materialen en het voorraadbeheer van de kartonagen.<\/p>\n
