Het investeringsvolume bedraagt 550 miljoen USD.<\/p>\n<p>(Hamburg) Hapag-Lloyd versterkt, gezien de huidige situatie, opnieuw de investeringen in zijn containerflotte \u2013 vergelijkbaar met wat de containerrederij in 2020 deed als eerste reactie op de pandemie. De rederij heeft vandaag duidelijk meer dan het normale aantal containers nodig om hetzelfde volume te vervoeren, omdat de containers langzamer worden teruggegeven.<\/p>\n<p>De containerlijnrederij heeft 150.000 TEU standaardcontainers en moderne koelcontainers in China besteld. Enkele containers zijn al in het eerste kwartaal van 2021 aan Hapag-Lloyd geleverd en ge\u00efntegreerd in de bestaande containerflotte. Het merendeel zal in de komende maanden worden geleverd. Daarnaast heeft Hapag-Lloyd 8.000 TEU speciale containers besteld, die bedoeld zijn voor overgrote of gevaarlijke goederen.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>De huidige situatie verlichten<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>&#8220;De containerschipping ervaart momenteel een ongekende vraag, die heeft geleid tot een tekort aan containers over de hele wereld. Met de recente containerbestellingen helpt Hapag-Lloyd de huidige situatie te verlichten en zal het zijn klanten een aanzienlijk betere service kunnen bieden,&#8221; zegt Rolf Habben Jansen, CEO van Hapag-Lloyd.<\/p>\n<p>De investeringen bedragen ongeveer 550 miljoen dollar.
