De in 2016 opgerichte ‘White-Label’ stadslogistiekdienstverlener URBAN CARGO heeft in aanwezigheid van de districtsburgemeester van Tempelhof-Sch\u00f6neberg, Angelika Sch\u00f6ttler (SPD), officieel een overslagpunt in gebruik genomen op de P+R parkeerplaats S- en U-Bahn Tempelhof \u2013 direct aan de BAB 100 aan de Tempelhofer Damm \u2013 in gebruik genomen.<\/p>\n

(Berlijn) URBAN CARGO heeft al micro-depots in Moabit, Charlottenburg en Sch\u00f6neberg. De nieuwe faciliteit van 80 m\u00b2 in Tempelhof, met zonnepanelen en batterijopslag, werd in de herfst van 2020 opgericht met ondersteuning van het BMVI, de Senaat en de DB Station & Service AG.<\/p>\n

De in dienst genomen koeriers leveren dagelijks 200 tot 250 pakketten aan particuliere klanten en biologische winkels. De opdrachtgevers zijn voornamelijk online verkopers en biologische voedselproducenten uit de omgeving \u2013 waaronder \u00d6kodorf Brodowin, Landkorb, Vollkern en anderen. De leveringen naar de 4 micro-depots vinden ’s ochtends tussen 6 en 8 uur plaats.<\/p>\n

Fijnaferdeling CO2-vrij met E-Lastenfietsen<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Van daaruit vindt de milieuvriendelijke fijnverdeling plaats op de zogenaamde laatste mijl met CO2-vrije E-Lastenfietsen, lichte elektrische voertuigen en E-transporters. Volgens URBAN CARGO worden met dit logistieke systeem ongeveer 4-5 conventionele dieseltransporters vervangen. In de micro-depots worden momenteel ook desinfectiemiddelen, handschoenen en mondkapjes voor de koeriers beschikbaar gehouden.<\/p>\n

Het dynamische Berlijnse stadslogistiek-start-up URBAN CARGO werd begin 2016 mede opgericht door de Berlijnse verkeerspoliticus Roland Prejawa. Het bedrijf zet als enige White-Label-dienstverlener uitsluitend innovatieve, aantrekkelijke, CO2-vrije voertuigen zoals lichte voertuigen en cargo-bikes in op de laatste mijl. Tot de klanten behoren zowel de grote KEP-diensten als online verkopers, de fysieke detailhandel en laboratoria, die door de opdracht aan URBAN CARGO hun eigen milieu-impact verbeteren.<\/p>\n
