Ashwin Bhat wordt de nieuwe commercieel directeur van Lufthansa Cargo. De hoofd van de vrachtdivisie van SWISS volgt Dorothea von Boxberg op, die de voorzitter van de raad van bestuur wordt. Bhat treedt op 1 maart 2021 in functie. Hij is verantwoordelijk voor de externe organisatie voor verkoop en handling wereldwijd.<\/p>\n

(Frankfurt) Ashwin Bhat zal op 1 maart 2021 als lid van de raad van bestuur de leiding van de afdeling Product en Verkoop (Chief Commercial Officer) van Lufthansa Cargo overnemen. De 51-jarige zal daarmee de huidige positie van Dorothea von Boxberg innemen, die op dezelfde dag als voorzitter van de raad van bestuur begint.<\/p>\n

Als Chief Commercial Officer van Lufthansa Cargo is Ashwin Bhat verantwoordelijk voor de wereldwijde externe organisatie voor verkoop en handling, het product, revenue management, prijsstelling, netwerkplanning en verkoopsturing.<\/p>\n

Sinds 1999 bij Swiss en de voorgangers<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bhat leidt sinds oktober 2015 als Vice President en Head of Cargo de vrachtafdeling van Swiss International Air Lines in Z\u00fcrich. Hij trad in februari 1999 in dienst bij de toenmalige Swisscargo AG en heeft verschillende leidinggevende functies bekleed, onder andere in revenue management, transportmanagement en global area management, tot aan zijn laatste functie als Head of Cargo voor Swiss International Air Lines.<\/p>\n

Ashwin Bhat, geboren in 1969, voltooide in 1990 zijn Bachelor of Science, major in Chemie aan de University of Mumbai, India, en werkte voor het begin van zijn carri\u00e8re in Z\u00fcrich enkele jaren als manager in de boekhouding van een financi\u00eble dienstverlener voor luchtvaartmaatschappijen in Mumbai.<\/p>\n
