Per 1 december 2020 zal Peter Str\u00f6m de directie van Volvo Trucks in Duitsland overnemen. Hij volgt Christian Coolsaet op, die sinds 1 september directeur van Volvo Trucks UK & Ireland is. Str\u00f6m komt van PEMA, waar hij ook directeur voor Duitsland was en tegelijkertijd Vice President van de TIP Central Region.<\/p>\n

(Ismaning) Peter Str\u00f6m komt van de PEMA GmbH, waarvan hij directeur in Duitsland was en tevens Vice President van de TIP Central Region. De van oorsprong Zweed heeft uitgebreide managementervaring. Zo bekleedde hij leidinggevende functies in verkoop en marketing bij Mercedes-Benz Financial Services en was hij directeur van Mercedes-Benz CharterWay. Ook was hij verantwoordelijk als European Commercial Director bij GE Commercial Finance.<\/p>\n

Duitsland is de meest competitieve markt<\/strong><\/h5>\n

“Als Zweed de directie van Volvo Trucks in mijn gekozen thuisland Duitsland over te nemen, maakt me trots. Duitsland is de meest competitieve markt in Europa. Hier actief te kunnen zijn, is een uitdaging die ik graag aanga. Met de recent gepresenteerde nieuwe voertuigen en een al succesvolle ploeg, zullen we Volvo Trucks verder vooruit helpen,” is Peter Str\u00f6m ervan overtuigd. Peter Str\u00f6m onderhoudt al lange tijd een goede zakelijke relatie met Volvo Trucks, aangezien de PEMA GmbH als een van de toonaangevende onafhankelijke verhuurbedrijven voor zware voertuigen in Europa ook talrijke Volvo Trucks in haar vloot van 20.000 eenheden heeft.<\/p>\n

15 jaar in de vrachtwagenindustrie<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Peter Str\u00f6m werd in 1963 in Zweden geboren en heeft een diploma in recht en bedrijfskunde. Sinds 2000 woont hij in Duitsland en heeft hij 15 jaar in de Duitse en Europese vrachtwagenindustrie gewerkt. Hij volgt Christian Coolsaet op, die sinds 1 september directeur van Volvo Trucks UK & Ireland is. Peter Str\u00f6m zal deel uitmaken van het managementteam voor Europa Noord & Centraal en rapporteren aan Anna M\u00fcller, SVP Volvo Trucks Europa Noord & Centraal.
