Binnenkort is het zover, het nieuwe Amazon logistiekcentrum in S\u00fclzetal bij Magdeburg gaat van start. Vanaf 3 augustus gaat het logistiek. In totaal zullen ongeveer 1.000 medewerkers hier een werkplek vinden. We beginnen met ongeveer 170 personen. Op piekdagen zullen tot 100.000 pakketten het magazijn verlaten. De focus ligt op grotere artikelen, zoals tuingereedschap.<\/p>\n

(S\u00fclzetal) Het Amazon-logo hangt en de technici werken aan de transporttechniek: In het nieuwe Amazon logistiekcentrum S\u00fclzetal bij Magdeburg is de start-teller begonnen. Al vanaf 3 augustus 2020 worden daar klantbestellingen verwerkt.<\/p>\n

De pakketten uit S\u00fclzetal gaan naar klanten in de regio en uit heel Europa. Op piekdagen zullen er meer dan 100.000 pakketten vanuit het logistiekcentrum in S\u00fclzetal worden verzonden. Voordat het zover is, wordt er nog aan de techniek en de processen gewerkt, en wordt de goederen opgeslagen. In S\u00fclzetal zijn er ongeveer 13.200 palletplaatsen in de hoogbouw. Het logistiekcentrum richt zich op grotere artikelen zoals tuingereedschap of grote verpakkingen. De producten worden in de hoogbouw individueel of op pallets opgeslagen. In totaal is er 97.000 m\u00b2 aan oppervlakte beschikbaar. Dat komt overeen met de grootte van 13 voetbalvelden.<\/p>\n

Tot 1.000 medewerkers<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Ongeveer 1.000 medewerkers zullen ervoor zorgen dat de Amazon-bestellingen op tijd aankomen. Bij de start zullen er ongeveer 170 zijn, in de tweede week van de operatie zal het team al groeien tot meer dan 400 en vervolgens geleidelijk verder worden uitgebreid.<\/p>\n

Voor de regio is de vestiging van Amazon nu al een belangrijke economische factor geworden. “Ik ben dankbaar dat een groot bedrijf zoals Amazon zich hier bij ons heeft gevestigd,” zegt J\u00f6rg Methner, burgemeester van S\u00fclzetal: “Het is belangrijk dat er werkgelegenheid wordt gecre\u00eberd. Ook ben ik dankbaar dat de gemeentebelasting hier in onze eenheidsgemeente blijft. Hier zouden enkele bedrijven een voorbeeld aan moeten nemen.”<\/p>\n

Een teken voor de Landkreis B\u00f6rde<\/strong><\/h5>\n

De nieuwe Amazon-locatie zet een sterk teken in de Landkreis, constateert Martin Stichnoth, landraad van B\u00f6rde. “De investering in onze regio is, vooral in deze bijzondere situatie, een verrijking voor de regionale arbeidsmarkt en de algehele economische ontwikkeling in de Landkreis B\u00f6rde.”<\/p>\n

Verzendmedewerkers in S\u00fclzetal beginnen met een instapbasisloon van omstreeks 11,66 euro bruto per uur. Teamleiders beginnen met een uurloon van 17,07 euro bruto. Bij het basisloon komen nog extra voordelen zoals een gratis levens- en arbeidsongeschiktheidsverzekering en een bedrijfspensioen.<\/p>\n
