Depuis son ouverture, le tunnel a consid\u00e9rablement modifi\u00e9 les connexions nord-sud en Suisse ainsi qu&#8217;en Europe, en particulier sur l&#8217;axe de transport de marchandises G\u00eanes-Rotterdam. Avec le tunnel de base du Ceneri, mis en service en 2020, et le tunnel de L\u00f6tschberg, le GBT constitue l&#8217;\u00e9l\u00e9ment central de la Nouvelle Transversale Ferroviaire Alpestre (NEAT). Le tunnel a \u00e9tabli des normes en mati\u00e8re d&#8217;innovation, de pr\u00e9cision et de fiabilit\u00e9, permettant un trac\u00e9 plus plat \u00e0 travers les Alpes, ce qui contribue \u00e0 un trafic plus efficace.<\/p>\n<h3>Chiffres et faits sur l&#8217;exploitation du tunnel<\/h3>\n<p>Depuis son ouverture, plus de 276 000 trains de marchandises et 169 000 trains de passagers ont circul\u00e9 dans le tunnel de base du Gothard. Vincent Ducrot, PDG des CFF, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#8217;occasion du dixi\u00e8me anniversaire : \u00ab Aujourd&#8217;hui, je tiens \u00e0 remercier tous ceux qui ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 la construction de cette \u0153uvre monumentale. Le tunnel a transform\u00e9 le trafic transalpin au cours des dix derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es et renforc\u00e9 l&#8217;axe nord-sud europ\u00e9en. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>La mise en service du tunnel de base du Ceneri a encore am\u00e9lior\u00e9 la connexion entre l&#8217;Europe du Nord et du Sud. Les temps de trajet dans le Tessin ont \u00e9t\u00e9 consid\u00e9rablement r\u00e9duits gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l&#8217;introduction d&#8217;un nouveau train de banlieue, de sorte que le trajet de Zurich \u00e0 Lugano dure d\u00e9sormais moins de deux heures. La demande dans le transport de passagers sur l&#8217;axe du Gothard a presque doubl\u00e9, et depuis pr\u00e8s de deux ans, un train circule dans les deux sens toutes les 30 minutes. Les CFF ajustent les capacit\u00e9s si n\u00e9cessaire pour r\u00e9pondre aux exigences accrues, notamment lors des week-ends de f\u00eate.<\/p>\n<h3>Efficacit\u00e9 dans le transport de marchandises<\/h3>\n<p>La NEAT a \u00e9galement optimis\u00e9 le transport de marchandises en offrant un trac\u00e9 presque plat sous les Alpes. Cela permet des trains plus rapides avec plus de wagons et des charges plus lourdes par rapport \u00e0 l&#8217;ancienne ligne de montagne. Le volume de transport sur l&#8217;axe du Gothard a augment\u00e9, et le transfert du transport de marchandises de la route vers le rail est encourag\u00e9. Cependant, un potentiel de d\u00e9veloppement reste, car seule une partie de la capacit\u00e9 est actuellement utilis\u00e9e. L&#8217;exploitation compl\u00e8te des capacit\u00e9s est essentielle pour intensifier le transfert de trafic et all\u00e9ger le trafic routier.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;ancienne ligne de montagne de 1882 reste \u00e9galement importante, car elle assure des connexions r\u00e9gionales. Environ 1 400 passagers utilisent quotidiennement les \u00ab Treni Gottardo \u00bb de la S\u00fcdostbahn (SOB). Cette ligne panoramique offre non seulement une alternative en cas de fermeture du tunnel de base du Gothard, mais aussi une attraction touristique qui peut \u00eatre explor\u00e9e avec le Gotthard Panorama Express.<\/p>\n<h3>Investissements dans l&#8217;infrastructure<\/h3>\n<p>Pour maintenir la performance du tunnel de base du Gothard, les CFF investissent chaque ann\u00e9e environ 35 millions de francs dans l&#8217;entretien. Le fort trafic entra\u00eene des abrasions de frein et des d\u00e9p\u00f4ts m\u00e9talliques dus \u00e0 l&#8217;usure, qui sont \u00e9limin\u00e9s par des syst\u00e8mes de nettoyage robotis\u00e9s. De plus, les CFF surveillent en continu les voies et les installations avec des instruments de mesure de haute pr\u00e9cision. En plus des travaux d&#8217;entretien nocturnes chaque week-end, des p\u00e9riodes de travail plus longues sont \u00e9galement n\u00e9cessaires, par exemple pour le syst\u00e8me de communication du tunnel, qui doit \u00eatre remplac\u00e9 d&#8217;ici 2027. Ces mesures sont n\u00e9cessaires pour garantir que le tunnel fonctionne de mani\u00e8re s\u00fbre et fluide \u00e0 l&#8217;avenir.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sbb.ch\" target=\"_blank\"
