Las estimaciones actuales ascienden a aproximadamente 475 millones de francos, lo que representa un aumento significativo en comparaci\u00f3n con la estimaci\u00f3n inicial de costos brutos de 275 millones de francos. Este ajuste es el resultado de un an\u00e1lisis m\u00e1s detallado en el marco del proyecto preliminar en curso, que ha demostrado que la implementaci\u00f3n constructiva en el denso espacio urbano de Basilea Norte es m\u00e1s compleja de lo que se hab\u00eda asumido inicialmente.<\/p>\n<p>Las condiciones cambiantes, en particular el voto del pueblo suizo en contra de la expansi\u00f3n de la autopista y el t\u00fanel del Rin asociado, han tra\u00eddo consigo desaf\u00edos adicionales. La eliminaci\u00f3n del proyecto del t\u00fanel del Rin significa que se pierden sinergias que originalmente tambi\u00e9n deb\u00edan ser utilizadas para el proyecto del ferrocarril del puerto. Tambi\u00e9n la provisi\u00f3n de \u00e1reas de compensaci\u00f3n natural y la creaci\u00f3n de infraestructuras para la conectividad ecol\u00f3gica se est\u00e1n volviendo m\u00e1s complicadas de lo planeado originalmente.<\/p>\n<p>A la luz de estos nuevos hallazgos, el Consejo de Gobierno ha decidido examinar los impactos en el desarrollo del puerto y de la ciudad. Tambi\u00e9n se llevar\u00e1 a cabo una reevaluaci\u00f3n de la relaci\u00f3n costo-beneficio.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, el traslado del ferrocarril del puerto tambi\u00e9n se considera una oportunidad para el desarrollo urbano de las \u00e1reas en Klybeckquai y Westquai. Se planea, entre otras cosas, la creaci\u00f3n de vivienda asequible, usos que beneficien al barrio y un amplio parque de barrio en Klybeckquai, que establecer\u00e1 una conexi\u00f3n con el Rin. En Westquai, el enfoque est\u00e1 en el desarrollo gradual de comercio, ocio y cultura, as\u00ed como en la creaci\u00f3n de espacios verdes y naturales.
