FM Logistic has announced the signing of an agreement to acquire a majority stake in the German Sch\u00e4flein Group. With this step, the company enters the German market, which is considered the largest logistics market in Europe, positioning itself as a significant player in the pan-European logistics landscape. The acquisition is expected to strengthen FM Logistic’s industrial and mobility expertise, as Sch\u00e4flein generates nearly 40% of its revenue from the industrial sector.<\/p>\n

The management of Sch\u00e4flein, consisting of Achim and Bernd Sch\u00e4flein, will continue to hold a stake in the company to ensure the family roots and continuity of the business. The completion of the transaction is subject to the usual regulatory approvals, including consent from the Federal Cartel Office.<\/p>\n

Strategic Expansion and Industrial Strengthening<\/h3>\n

The acquisition is part of FM Logistic’s strategy to promote geographical diversification and advance development in the industrial sector. After the completion of the acquisition, the operational management of Sch\u00e4flein will remain unchanged. Achim Sch\u00e4flein (CEO), Bernd Sch\u00e4flein (COO), and Christoph Heller (CFO) will retain their positions to ensure a smooth transition phase. Customers are expected to experience no operational disruptions and will keep their usual contacts. The brand „Sch\u00e4flein“ will continue to exist to emphasize the company’s local roots.<\/p>\n

The partnership between FM Logistic and Sch\u00e4flein aims to promote strong expansion through four key growth drivers.
