The Nagel-Group will provide central logistics services for KoRo Handels GmbH in the future. The operational implementation will be carried out by B+S GmbH Logistics and Services. This partnership is intended to serve as a foundation for the Berlin-based food brand’s next growth phase in Germany and Europe. The goal is to create a scalable logistics platform that integrates e-commerce, brick-and-mortar retail, and international markets.<\/p>\n

Logistics structure for expansion<\/h3>\n

In recent years, KoRo has evolved from a digital food brand to a European omnichannel brand. In addition to its online shop, the company has significantly expanded its presence in brick-and-mortar retail and is now available at around 15,000 sales points in Germany. To support the next scaling phase, KoRo requires a logistics structure capable of accommodating larger volumes and various distribution channels, as well as country-specific requirements.<\/p>\n

At the Alzenau location, B+S Logistics will take on comprehensive services along the entire supply chain. This includes warehousing, order picking, and value-added services such as packaging, co-packing, and display construction. Additionally, national and Europe-wide distribution will be ensured. Through its connection to the Nagel-Group’s Europe-wide network, KoRo can efficiently serve both brick-and-mortar retail and e-commerce.<\/p>\n

Growth Strategy and Market Opportunities<\/h3>\n

In 2025, KoRo accelerated its growth trajectory further, increasing revenue to 252 million euros, which represents a 44 percent increase compared to the previous year. The company plans to grow profitably in the coming years and continue to expand its omnichannel strategy. KoRo sees significant potential, particularly in France and Italy, as well as in the German grocery retail sector.<\/p>\n

The partnership with the Nagel-Group and B+S Logistics is intended to form the logistical backbone for this expansion. The dense European network of the Nagel-Group enables KoRo to efficiently tap into both national and international markets. The new logistics structure will allow the company to handle increasing volumes and respond flexibly to varying market demands. A particular focus is placed on reliably serving different distribution models, from central retail structures to country-specific delivery requirements.<\/p>\n

Quality Requirements for Logistics<\/h3>\n

As a provider of high-quality, predominantly plant-based foods, KoRo places high demands on its logistics partners. The product range includes snacks, dried fruits, nut butters, breakfast products, and functional foods, which entail different requirements for storage, order picking, and packaging. In addition to strict food standards, transport-safe packaging for sensitive products and large-volume containers in e-commerce is particularly important. In the omnichannel model, logistics is not only an operational process but also a central component for product availability, product protection, and customer experience.<\/p>\n

Dr. Steffani Busch, COO of KoRo, emphasizes: \u201cKoRo is currently growing across multiple channels simultaneously: in the online shop, in retail, and internationally. For this, we need logistics that can keep pace with this speed while also meeting our requirements for quality, transparency, and reliability. Phased Implementation of the Collaboration<\/h3>\n

The operational start of the collaboration will take place in several phases. The first goods receipt in the B2B sector already occurred on April 15, 2026, followed by outbound processes that began in early June. The B2C business is scheduled to commence in August 2026.<\/p>\n
