The train, known as Frecciarossa 1000, is currently being tested on the Austrian infrastructure, marking an important step towards approval for passenger transport.<\/p>\n<h3>Transport from Italy to Austria<\/h3>\n<p>The journey of the train began in Osmannoro, Italy. From there, the train was transported via Tarvisio to Wien-Kledering. To ensure the safe integration of the high-speed train into the transport operation, special coupling cars were used. These were also required in Austria for several days after the train&#8217;s arrival to conduct the subsequent test runs. For the RCG, this meant that the transport did not end with the arrival of the train, but also included the provision and coordination of the necessary equipment.<\/p>\n<h3>Special requirements for transport<\/h3>\n<p>Transports of this kind are not standard operations. Vehicle, route, technical requirements, and time windows must be precisely coordinated. Especially on international routes such as the one via Tarvisio, experience, planning certainty, and close coordination among all parties involved are essential. The RCG organized the entire transport as a comprehensive logistics solution, which included all necessary permits in Italy from transport planning to delivery in Austria.<\/p>\n<h3>Test runs on Austrian infrastructure<\/h3>\n<p>In Austria, the train is now being used for test runs on the local infrastructure. This includes checks such as speed and driving behavior, which are crucial for the approval of passenger transport. For the RCG, the focus was on providing the right transport solution and safely bringing the vehicle to where it was needed for the next step in the approval process.
