High vehicle frequencies, language barriers between drivers and dispatchers, as well as manual processes often lead to waiting times, traffic jams, or unclear processes at factory gates and loading areas. Against this backdrop, companies are increasingly relying on digital systems for yard management and access control.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"573\" data-end=\"1032\">The German <span class=\"\" data-state=\"closed\"><a class=\"decorated-link cursor-pointer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lean Department GmbH<\/a><\/span> is developing a software solution called &#8222;CargoCall&#8220; for the digital management of truck access to company premises. The system is particularly aimed at industrial and logistics companies with high delivery and shipping volumes. The goal is to simplify coordination between drivers, gatekeepers, and logistics offices, and to reduce traffic congestion on factory premises.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1034\" data-end=\"1474\">Drivers register directly via their own smartphones. Communication can take place in various languages. Additionally, features such as license plate recognition, barrier control, and digital documentation are utilized. The solution aims to replace or complement traditional paper-based or manual processes in yard management.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1938\" data-end=\"2322\">According to a published case study, the software is used, among others, by Gl\u00fcpker Blechtechnologie GmbH. There, between 80 and 100 trucks are processed daily. The digital management helps coordinate access and simplifies communication between drivers and dispatchers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2324\" data-end=\"2791\">Digital yard management systems have been gaining importance in the logistics industry for several years. Reasons for this include increasing transport volumes, growing time pressure in supply chains, and the desire for more transparent processes on company premises. At the same time, digital solutions are expected to help reduce language barriers in international freight transport and to automate administrative processes more effectively.<\/p>\n<p
