As part of this expansion, the existing office building in Marchtrenk will also be expanded by 50 million euros to double its size by the first half of 2028. The groundbreaking for this project took place on April 28 in the presence of Thomas Stelzer, the Governor of Upper Austria, and Paul Mahr, the Mayor of Marchtrenk.<\/p>\n<h3>Expansion of the Headquarters<\/h3>\n<p>The new five-story office building at the headquarters in Marchtrenk will be connected to the existing structure by a so-called &#8222;Cube.&#8220; This Cube will provide meeting zones, workshop rooms, and spaces for collaboration in interdisciplinary teams. The goal is to create an environment that fosters collaboration, creativity, and innovation, which is essential for a technology company in the international project business. The total office space will extend to 14,000 m\u00b2 and accommodate more than 400 employees.<\/p>\n<p>Henry Puhl, Chief Executive Officer of TGW Logistics, explains the necessity of this expansion: &#8222;TGW Logistics has grown so dynamically in recent years that we had to rent satellite spaces. This was not optimal for collaboration or interdisciplinary networking within the company. With the expansion of our headquarters, we can consolidate these external spaces again.&#8220; Puhl emphasizes that this is an important prerequisite for achieving the growth target of doubling revenue to two billion euros by 2030. The record order intake of 1.5 billion euros in the last fiscal year underscores the potential of the intralogistics industry.<\/p>\n<h3>Flexible Working in the New Office<\/h3>\n<p>In the new offices, the Activity Based Working approach will be implemented, where there are no fixed workstations. Employees can actively choose their workspace depending on the task or project, allowing for flexible collaboration. This working method is supported by modern communication and collaboration tools.<\/p>\n<p>TGW Logistics relies on regional partners for planning, construction, and equipment to promote value creation in Austria. Additionally, access to public transport is ensured through a free shuttle service for employees to the Marchtrenk train station.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas Stelzer, Governor of Upper Austria, highlights the significance of this investment: &#8222;This investment is a strong signal for the attractiveness of Upper Austria as a location for work, business, and innovation. We provide companies with an environment in which they can grow and develop \u2013 with qualified employees, modern infrastructure, and a clear focus on innovation and performance.&#8220;<\/p>\n<h3>Long-term Stability through Foundation Model<\/h3>\n<p>Sebastian Wolf, Chief Financial Officer of TGW Logistics, emphasizes the company&#8217;s long-term orientation: &#8222;Sustainable investments in long-term development are an integral part of our DNA. This is made possible by our unique setup as a foundation company, which not only means stability and security but also long-term scope for design.&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Two-thirds of the profits remain in the company and are invested in the 4,600 employees, future innovations, and infrastructure. One-third flows to the owner, the TGW Future Private Foundation, which supports charitable projects of TGW Future Wings focused on promoting children and youth with at least 30 percent of that
