To counteract this problem, T Comm Telematics has developed a new battery charger designed to help transport and logistics companies keep their trailers ready for use at all times.<\/p>\n<h3>Efficient Solution for the Cold Chain<\/h3>\n<p>The innovative device ensures that the refrigeration unit&#8217;s battery is continuously supplied with power when a truck is coupled. This guarantees an uninterrupted cold chain, regardless of the respective operating conditions. Carsten Holtrup, Country Manager at T Comm Telematics, emphasizes the importance of this solution: \u201cIn the highly competitive transport services market, time is money. With the battery charger, we ensure that delays or even failures of trailers are avoided, thereby further improving the competitiveness of companies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The battery charger from the Dutch telematics provider, which has a representative office in M\u00fcnster, Westphalia, can be easily mounted on the outside of the trailer. It features a robust design that guarantees functional performance even under demanding conditions. Additionally, galvanic isolation prevents unintentional discharge of the truck battery.<\/p>\n<p>The new battery charger complements T Comm&#8217;s comprehensive telematics solution for temperature-controlled transport. This consists of intelligent base units and wireless sensors that are easy to install and can be flexibly placed where needed. Furthermore, transport and logistics companies have access to a powerful web-based platform through which status data and information can be conveniently retrieved.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe battery charger fills another gap and connects trucks, trailers, and the refrigeration unit&#8217;s battery.
