These vehicles from the German commercial vehicle manufacturer are intended for the logistics operations of Leroy Merlin, a French player in the home improvement sector. The new delivery represents another step in the decarbonization strategy pursued by both companies.<\/p>\n<h3>Sustainable logistics with MAN eTGX<\/h3>\n<p>The four MAN eTGX 20.449 4&#215;2 with a power output of 330 kW (449 hp) expand the fleet of electric vehicles of the Rave Group. Thanks to their modular battery systems and a range of up to 500 km, they are well-suited for the regular transports carried out for Leroy Merlin. Xavier Charbon, Managing Director of the Rave Group, emphasizes: \u201cThese new electric trucks from MAN enable us to concretely advance the energy transition in our activities. For a customer like Leroy Merlin, which is heavily focused on reducing the environmental impact of its supply chain, we need to offer reliable and genuinely low-carbon solutions.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Support for the energy transition in transport<\/h3>\n<p>Jean-Yves Kerbrat, Managing Director of MAN Truck &amp; Bus France, highlights that the delivery of the new MAN eTGX demonstrates that electric transport has now become an operational reality for large players in French logistics. \u201cWe are pleased to support the Rave Group in electrifying their transports for Leroy Merlin, a customer that shares our vision of a more sustainable, efficient, and responsible transport,\u201d says Kerbrat.<\/p>\n<p>Rave will also benefit from the digital services of MAN eMobility, including MAN Charge&amp;Go, to optimize the management and charging of its electric fleet.<\/p>\n<h3>Commitment to a reduced CO2 footprint<\/h3>\n<p>By integrating these electric trucks into their transport operations, Leroy Merlin strengthens its comprehensive efforts to reduce CO2 emissions. The operation of 100% electric deliveries in stores is part of the ongoing collaboration with the Rave Group for more responsible logistics.<\/p>\n<p>The Rave Group has been actively committed to alternative energies for over 15 years and pursues a strategy that ranges from B30 to biogas, HVO, and B100, up to electrification. Currently, more than 30% of their tractors operate on alternative energies. In October of last year, the Rave Group had already integrated four electric MAN eTGX for the logistics of Airbus.
