The operating result (EBIT) rose by 19.5 percent to \u20ac161 million, while it was \u20ac134 million in the previous year. Despite this positive development, the group net profit was significantly impacted by one-time tax effects, amounting to \u20ac10 million, compared to \u20ac33 million in the previous year. The sub-segment Port Logistics contributed \u20ac1 million to the net profit.<\/p>\n<h3>Dividend Not Paid<\/h3>\n<p>Group-wide container throughput increased by 5.4 percent to 6,295 thousand standard containers (TEU), while 5,970 thousand TEU were handled in the previous year. In the Intermodal segment, transport volume rose by 10.9 percent to 1,982 thousand TEU, compared to 1,787 thousand TEU in the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>Jeroen Eijsink, CEO of HHLA, commented on the results: \u201cIn the fiscal year 2025, HHLA was able to achieve solid growth in both container handling at the terminals and container transport by rail and road \u2013 all in an extremely challenging market environment.
