Lambert, who has been with the company for over 20 years, has significantly contributed to the development of the company during his time as CFO and later as CEO. In a statement, he expressed that it has been an honor to develop Zetes over the past 25 years and to lead it as CEO for the last four years. He emphasized that he has great confidence in Depoortere and looks forward to supporting him in his new role as non-executive chairman of the Zetes board.<\/p>\n<p>Ronny Depoortere brings more than 30 years of experience in information and communication technology (ICT), nearly 25 of which have been in the field of citizen identity. He joined the company in 2002 to establish the People ID Division and served as Senior Vice President of that department for nearly 20 years. In April 2022, he became president and board member. With an academic background in electrical engineering, business administration, and corporate law, he has developed Zetes&#8216; People Identity division into an internationally recognized business. Depoortere stated that he feels honored to succeed Lambert and looks forward to working with the leadership team and employees to shape the next phase of the company.<\/p>\n<h3>Changes in the Board and Corporate Structure<\/h3>\n<p>In addition to the leadership changes, Satoshi Mizobata will step down as chairman of the Zetes board in June 2026 after five years. Bart Crols will succeed Depoortere as president of the People ID Division on April 1, 2026. Tiago Concei\u00e7\u00e3o, who was appointed president of the Goods ID Division in April 2025, will continue in that position. Jo\u00ebl Criqui was appointed as Group CFO to the Zetes leadership team in January 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Zetes is a technology company based in Brussels that specializes in solutions for optimizing supply chains and citizen identification. The company employs more than 1,300 people in 23 countries in the EMEA region and became a subsidiary of Panasonic Corporation in 2017.
