The Isles of Scilly Steamship Group (ISSG), responsible for the ship&#8217;s operation, has announced plans to deploy additional landing boats, aircraft, and the passenger ferry &#8222;Scillonian III&#8220; to ensure the supply of fresh food to the island residents. As ISSG informed BBC, options for repairing the windlass were explored, but due to the ship&#8217;s age, no replacement parts were available.
