The PCF Perishable Center GmbH & Co. KG celebrated its 30th anniversary this year. For three decades, the company has stood for quality, reliability, and innovation in temperature-controlled air freight handling.<\/strong> The PCF was founded in 1995 by three partners: Nagel-Group Logistics SE (50%), Dettmer Group GmbH & Co. KG (40%), and Fraport AG (10%). This strong partnership continues to form the basis for continuity, flexibility, and corporate responsibility.<\/h5>\n

(Frankfurt) With over 9,000 square meters of temperature-controlled storage space and temperature zones ranging from -25 \u00b0C to +25 \u00b0C, the PCF offers tailored logistics solutions for products in the fields of fruits and vegetables, flowers and plants, fish and meat, as well as pharmaceuticals. With state-of-the-art technology, including vacuum and rapid coolers, real-time data transmission, and fully automated thermal transporters, the company ensures seamless cold chains and short turnaround times. More than 120 employees work daily to ensure that fresh products from around the world reach their destination safely, efficiently, and on time. Many of them have been with the company for many years \u2013 a sign of a lived team culture and shared passion.<\/p>\n

“Since 1995, the PCF has stood for quality, reliability, and innovation in the handling of perishable goods at Frankfurt Airport,” says Rainer Wittenfeld, Managing Director of the PCF. “We are proud of our employees, our partners, and the many people who have accompanied our journey and made the PCF what it is today: Europe’s hub for temperature-controlled air freight.”<\/p>\n

Ceremonial Anniversary Evening at The Aircraft in Dreieich<\/strong><\/h5>\n

With the anniversary on October 10, 2025, the PCF celebrated not only its history but also the people who have shaped it: employees, partners, and customers who have together created three decades of success, trust, and passion for freshness. On the occasion of the anniversary, the PCF invited guests to a grand anniversary celebration at the event location The Aircraft<\/em> in Dreieich. Guests experienced a festive evening with culinary highlights, live acts, musical entertainment, and a multimedia retrospective of 30 years of company history.<\/p>\n

After the official welcome by the management and partners, the company’s partners and companions were taken on a journey through three decades of air freight handling at Europe’s largest air freight hub. Following this, a varied evening program provided space for personal conversations and an unforgettable conclusion to the evening.<\/p>\n

For the Nagel-Group, the main partner of the PCF, 2025 is also a special year: the company celebrates its 90th anniversary. Both events exemplify continuity, responsibility, and successful change in an ever-evolving industry.<\/p>\n

Marion Nagel, Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of the Nagel-Group, emphasizes: “The Perishable Center is an important part of the Nagel-Group that we are very proud of.
