With the help of artificial intelligence, the AI agent automatically processes handwritten and printed information on scanned pallet slips and transfers it structured into the digital booking mask.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>\u201cLogistics managers will know this: At the beginning of each shift, dozens of pallet slips land on the table that all need to be booked. Time-consuming \u2013 and above all avoidable \u2013 tedious work that is now almost completely eliminated thanks to the AI agent,\u201d says Dr. Philipp H\u00fcning, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Logistikbude. After an intensive testing phase in live operation, the feature has already been implemented with the first partner companies and shows immediate positive effects: \u201cThe central advantage of the AI agent has already been demonstrated with the first customers: It is self-explanatory and therefore ready for use immediately,\u201d says H\u00fcning.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>From manual input to automated booking<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>The new feature automatically processes the information on scanned documents using artificial intelligence \u2013 including exchange partners, document date and number, loading equipment and quantities, optionally also truck license plates and other references \u2013 and generates a booking that only needs to be briefly approved by an employee. The special feature: The slips are read without training \u2013 even those that the system has never seen before. \u201cThis reduces the effort per pallet slip from 30\u201360 seconds to just a few seconds and simultaneously lowers the error rate due to transmission errors. With dozens of slips per day, several hours of avoidable tedious work can be saved weekly,\u201d says H\u00fcning.<\/p>\n<p>The solution is fully scalable and can reliably process tens of thousands of documents or more per week. In the next expansion phase, bookings will even be created fully automatically \u2013 without manual intervention. Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer (CPO) Patrik Elfert says: \u201cWith the AI agent, we bring artificial intelligence directly into the everyday life of logistics. We not only reduce manual work steps but also create the basis for fully digital and audit-proof processes in load carrier management \u2013 thus making a strategic contribution to the digitization of the supply chain.\u201d<\/p>\n<h5><strong>The pallet slip as \u201cthe smallest common denominator\u201d<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Why do companies still rely on paper at all? H\u00fcning explains: \u201cFor many companies, paper remains the smallest common denominator: Different systems are often not interconnected, and when external partners come into play, paper is often the only means of documentation at the ramp.\u201d Therefore, the \u201cclassic\u201d pallet slip is still prevalent in logistics and production everyday life. \u201cOur vision is to fully automate load carrier processes and thus create a completely paperless environment. At the same time, we see that the reality currently looks different.
