SWAN GmbH, a project house for SAP logistics, is making a strong statement for technological innovation and customer orientation with the new app ‘SWAN Lumina Client’. The central application for mobile SAP applications is the result of a structured innovation process that involves both employees and customers.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

(Augsburg) SWAN pursues an open innovation strategy. With the Kickbox methodology, based on the principles of Design Thinking and Lean Startup, all employees have the opportunity to further develop their own ideas \u2013 regardless of position or department. Creative approaches to solving customer issues are systematically promoted and validated early through customer feedback. The Products & Innovation department supports this process, identifies potentials, and transforms promising ideas into market-ready product solutions.<\/p>\n

“With the Kickbox methodology, we give our colleagues the space to systematically develop their creative ideas and additionally validate them with customers. A benefit for both sides,” explains Kai Starke, Director of Realization and Authorized Signatory at SWAN.<\/p>\n

From Customer Needs to Market-Ready App<\/strong><\/h5>\n

By developing a client for mobile SAP applications \u2013 optimized for SAP Fiori\/UI5 and ITSmobile dialogues \u2013 SWAN has proactively implemented customer feedback from project business into a standardized solution. The client offers a powerful alternative to regular browsers for orchestrating SAP dialogues on mobile devices from various manufacturers, especially for use in on-premise systems. With the client, SWAN creates a central entry point for different mobile SAP technologies.<\/p>\n

    An innovative industrial company with several business areas has equipped 200 devices with the app to make various SAP applications centrally and securely available. Feedback from practical application flows directly into the further development of the app and strengthens the partnership with the customer.<\/p>\n
