AutoStore, a globally operating technology company driving fulfillment innovations, has surpassed the milestone of 1,100 installations in the EMEA region and is introducing a new regional operating model to support further growth and enhance customer and partner experience.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

(M\u00f6nchengladbach) “Every AutoStore system is more than just an upgrade to the warehouse; it is a crucial advantage for high goods throughput. This milestone in the EMEA region shows that fulfillment is no longer just a back-end operation. It is a frontline advantage. Our customers use AutoStore to stay one step ahead, no matter how quickly demand rises,” says Keith White, Chief Commercial Officer at AutoStore.<\/p>\n

Fulfillment on an EMEA Scale<\/strong><\/h5>\n

AutoStore continues to gain strong momentum across the EMEA region, where the demand for high-performance automation remains high. Currently, there are 931 active systems in 35 countries in the region, serving industries such as retail, e-commerce, healthcare, and manufacturing \u2013 with an additional 172 systems pending installation.
\nIn just the last few years, 322 new systems have been added in the EMEA region, reflecting ongoing investments in scalable, future-proof automation solutions for high-throughput environments.<\/p>\n

Today, AutoStore systems in the EMEA region operate with:
\n\u2022 34,301 robots
\n\u2022 33.7 million bins
\n\u2022 8,659 ports<\/p>\n

AutoStore systems require an average of only 27 seconds to retrieve bins and can fulfill urgent orders in less than four minutes. This technology helps companies across the EMEA region streamline operations, reduce warehouse space, and improve the working environment \u2013 all while maintaining high reliability and performance.<\/p>\n

New Leadership for a New Chapter<\/strong><\/h5>\n

To lead this next phase in the region, Frode S. Robberstad has been appointed President of EMEA. Robberstad has been part of AutoStore from the beginning and operated the first AutoStore system in a live environment in 2002. Since 2017, he has played a key role in building the AutoStore partner network and commercial presence in the region.<\/p>\n

Additionally, this year marks the 20th anniversary of the first AutoStore system operated by Element Logic. This early collaboration laid the foundation for a new era of warehouse automation based on modularity, efficiency, and long-term value creation.

A Look into the Future: Strong Regional Operating Model<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Effective May 1, 2025, the EMEA trade organization will now unite the departments of Partner Sales, Solution Consulting, Business Development, Consulting Sales, Customer Success, Regional Marketing Execution, and Technical Account Management under a regional leadership team. This structure gives AutoStore the flexibility to respond quickly, collaborate intensively, and provide a seamless experience throughout the entire customer journey.<\/p>\n

By combining the collective expertise of AutoStore and its partners, derived from working with over 1,200 customers at 1,650 locations worldwide, the company is better equipped to tackle complex challenges, accelerate automation initiatives, and achieve measurable ROI. This milestone reflects the shared success of our entire partner ecosystem \u2013 both in the past and present, continuing to help our customers scale smarter, faster, and with sustainable impact.<\/p>\n
