(Leipzig) The new Webfleet add-on feature is the result of the partnership between Webfleet and Bosch, announced last year at the ‘Bosch Connected World’. In this context, Webfleet integrated its telematics platform with Bosch’s Logistics Operating System (L.OS) and the ‘Bosch Secure Truck Parking’ offering to further enhance its solution. Fleet operators can now directly search, book, and manage secure parking spaces through Webfleet \u2013 saving time and effort in logistics.<\/p>\n
‘With Secure Truck Parking, we are solving one of the biggest problems for freight forwarders, namely finding secure parking options for trucks, cargo, and drivers,’ explains Jan-Maarten de Vries, President Fleet Management Solutions at Bridgestone. ‘For the largest network of secure truck parking spaces operated by Bosch, we offer the best possible connectivity currently available on the market.’<\/p>\n
The new Secure Truck Parking feature in Webfleet provides a fully integrated booking process: fleet customers can specifically select parking spaces based on location, amenities, desired duration, and remaining driving time. Additionally, the parking search can be linked with route and order planning, allowing parking times to be optimally integrated into workflows and legal requirements regarding driving and rest times.<\/p>\n
