Webfleet, the proven fleet management solution from Bridgestone, is now offering an integrated telematics solution in collaboration with trailer manufacturer Krone through its OEM.connect partner program. Commercial fleets can now easily connect their Krone trailers to the Webfleet telematics platform using the factory-installed hardware.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

(Leipzig\/Spelle) Retrofitting hardware is now a thing of the past. This allows companies to increase the utilization of their trailers, reduce downtime, enhance road safety, and save costs and time with the help of meaningful trailer data.<\/p>\n

With this integration, Krone customers gain access to all the benefits of Webfleet for their trailer management \u2013 from comprehensive route guidance and real-time positioning to proactive maintenance and active payload and tire pressure management (TPMS).<\/p>\n

“The OEM.connect program provides users with the opportunity to quickly and easily connect trailers and take advantage of all the benefits of the Webfleet platform that assist them in efficiently managing their trailer fleet,” explains Jan-Maarten de Vries, President Fleet Management Solutions at Bridgestone Mobility Solutions. “We are excited about the collaboration with Krone, a leading trailer manufacturer in Europe, as well as the combination of truck and fleet data on a single platform. This way, we can support even more companies with useful information to maximize their trailer performance.”<\/p>\n

Freight forwarders can easily activate the Webfleet integration via the Krone telematics platform, thus retaining full control over their data. Maximilian Birle, Managing Director of Krone Digital, adds: “Through the cooperation with Webfleet, we offer our customers modern telematics features with an easy-to-use interface from one of the leading fleet management solutions in Europe. With just one click, freight forwarders receive the latest data and insights, all without costs for downtime or installation.”<\/p>\n

Solution Available Now<\/h5>\n

The integrated trailer solution is now available for European Webfleet customers. Krone is the second trailer manufacturer to join the Webfleet OEM.connect program, which was recently expanded to trailers and is continuously being enhanced with new features and vehicle brands.<\/p>\n
