The stated goal: to shift more container traffic from road to rail.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(K\u00f6ln\/Duisburg\/Rotterdam) The issue is well known: Container transport from the Rhineland to the seaports by road is time-consuming and generates climate-damaging CO2 emissions. Therefore, HGK Intermodal GmbH has launched the &#8216;SchachZUG&#8217; to offer an environmentally friendly alternative by rail.<\/p>\n<p>The advantages for customers are clear:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reliable and punctual transport by rail<\/li>\n<li>No traffic jams on congested highways<\/li>\n<li>Sustainable and environmentally friendly logistics<\/li>\n<li>Reduction of toll costs<\/li>\n<li>Possibility of interim storage at the HGK terminal in the hinterland of Rotterdam<\/li>\n<li>Seamless supply chain from a single source<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Offer saves time and costs<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>&#8220;With our SchachZUG, we are responding to customer demands.
