The Austrian transport and logistics company FRIKUS relies on refueling with HVO100 diesel for its vehicles used domestically. This underscores the ambitions of the subsidiary of the Lagermax Group in employing sustainable bridging technology for renewable fuels.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

(Premst\u00e4tten) In the middle of this year, FRIKUS Liquids GmbH also completed the transition of its own truck fleet to HVO100 diesel, demonstrating how innovative technologies and sustainable thinking can revolutionize the transport sector.<\/p>\n

The introduction of HVO100 diesel in FRIKUS Liquids’ own fleet is more than just a change of fuel for the company. “The use of HVO diesel represents another step towards minimizing the ecological footprint and offering customers sustainable transport solutions,” says Richard P\u00f6schl, Managing Director of FRIKUS Liquids GmbH. It is a clear signal to the industry and customers that sustainable innovations are always at the core of the business model.<\/p>\n

As early as 2023, FRIKUS began implementing Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) as fuel. This decision marked the beginning of an ambitious project aimed at drastically reducing the CO2 footprint of domestic land transport. The transition to environmentally friendly HVO100 fuel has now been completed.<\/p>\n

The Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation, and Technology (BMK) confirms a significant reduction in CO2 emissions through the use of HVO fuels. Up to 90 percent less CO2 emissions are the impressive result of this transition. HVO fuel, produced from renewable sources such as biomass and vegetable oils, is considered one of the most promising alternatives to conventional diesel.<\/p>\n

FRIKUS thus emphasizes its commitment to minimizing the ecological footprint to create a sustainable future for upcoming generations. At the same time, FRIKUS also sets a sign for the entire industry, showing that economic success and ecological responsibility can go hand in hand.<\/p>\n
