(Duisburg\/Gabersdorf) Schauer Gabelstapler GmbH was founded in 2013 by Karlheinz Schauer as a sole proprietorship. Within a short time, the company was very successful in the areas of service, repair, rental, and sale of forklifts, leading to his brother, Martin Schauer, joining the company in 2016. The range of services was expanded to include the repair and service of combustion engines, electric drives and controls, special conversions, repairs on hydraulic systems, and battery regeneration. The team around the “Schauer Brothers” also grew continuously.<\/p>\n
In 2020, Schauer Gabelstapler established a GmbH and further expanded its portfolio with the sale and rental of aerial work platforms. To be prepared for the future, the brothers started planning a new company location in 2020. In 2021, the company moved to Gabersdorf into a new large and modern forklift workshop. Here, on a 5000 m2<\/sup> plot, there are 1000 m2<\/sup> of building space with offices, sales and storage rooms, a modern workshop with a hydraulic station for the production of various hoses and lines, a training room for up to 25 people that can also be booked externally, a showroom for new and used vehicles, as well as a large spare parts warehouse.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the company, which has long made a name for itself in the industry, employs 13 people \u2013 of which eight are service technicians. The service portfolio today includes, among other things, the sale of new and used equipment, service and repair of forklifts from all manufacturers, annual safety inspections, rental of aerial work platforms and forklifts, planning of storage concepts, and the repair and sale of batteries.<\/p>\n For Clark Europe, Schauer offers the complete Clark service spectrum in Austria.
