Since April 1, 2024, the next spin-off of the company builder Cargo Digital World (CDW) is on the market as an independent company: Warespace connects 120 locations with five million square meters of storage space in 27 countries for decentralized order allocation thanks to a self-developed software.<\/strong> The partner network of CargoLine and other medium-sized companies provides Warespace with a very large scope of storage capacity to offer tailored services for the individual needs of customers.<\/h5>\n

(Paderborn) With decentralized distributed orders, the Warespace solution can save up to 20 percent in outbound traffic. “With our products, we can provide logistics managers in industry and trade with tailored offers for storage and, if necessary, transport requirements,” emphasizes Sebastian Richter, founder and managing director of Warespace. Sebastian Richter runs the company based in Paderborn together with Jonas Tritschallek, also co-founder and managing director.<\/p>\n

The core of the application is the web app Link, which serves as a standardized interface between customers and warehouses, including a dashboard, statistics, reporting, and order management. This is complemented by the platform Tenderspace, which allows for quick and easy capturing, bundling, and sharing of warehouse logistics tenders with selected storage locations. Furthermore, with Palletspace, short-term available pallet spaces can be booked with just a few clicks. In this way, storage bottlenecks can be overcome by involving additional warehouses, and both very large and very small projects can be successfully executed at a professional level upon request.<\/p>\n

Increasingly frequent environmental events, as well as disruptions in global goods traffic, repeatedly lead to failures or delays in supply chains. These and other risks, such as attacks on IT infrastructure or rising transport prices due to tolls and CO2<\/sub> pricing, are distributed across multiple shoulders through the approach of a decentralized storage network, thereby increasing the resilience of supply chains.<\/p>\n

\nConvinced of Independent Market Entry<\/h5>\n

“Warespace is the right offer not least for large customers. The partnership between technology companies and medium-sized businesses is an absolute win-win situation. For us medium-sized companies, new sales channels are opening up. In return, we alone provide Warespace with access to over three million pallet spaces across Europe,” clarifies Bernd Sch\u00e4flein, advisory board member of the CDW anchor investor CargoLine and board member of Sch\u00e4flein AG, about the business model. “This is already a clear statement that Warespace is to be reckoned with!” he expresses his confidence in the independent market entry of the start-up.<\/p>\n
