Solar power plants with a capacity of 6,774 kWp are being installed on the roofs of projects in D\u00fcren, Schw\u00e4bisch Gm\u00fcnd, and Gro\u00dfbeeren. Further projects are in planning.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p class=\"js-lazy a-fadeInUp -elVisibility30 -animated\">(Hamburg) Sunrock was founded in 2012 and is one of the largest investors, developers, and owners of photovoltaic rooftop systems in Europe, with an area of 5 million m\u00b2. After joint projects in the Netherlands and in North Rhine-Westphalia&#8217;s Unna in Germany, as well as further future projects in France, the company is now realizing additional installations in Germany for Panattoni. The properties in D\u00fcren, Schw\u00e4bisch Gm\u00fcnd, and Gro\u00dfbeeren can thus be operated energy-autonomously. The surplus will be fed into the grid. In total, the new systems can generate up to 6,774 kWp of electricity per year for 2,000 two-person households.<\/p>\n<h5>Generating Electricity on Your Own Roof is Worthwhile<\/h5>\n<p class=\"js-lazy a-fadeInUp -elVisibility30 -animated\">Sunrock leases the areas from Panattoni and takes care of the entire development, financing, realization, and management of the solar projects. The fact that Panattoni is promoting the equipping of building roofs with photovoltaic systems has several reasons, explains Fred-Markus Bohne, Managing Partner of Panattoni Germany and Austria: &#8220;The current price developments in the electricity market do not stop at our users. Generating electricity on your own roof is worthwhile to become independent from these developments. Additionally, many companies have set in their ESG criteria to increase the share of renewable energies in their energy mix.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"js-lazy a-fadeInUp -elVisibility30 -animated\">Hugo Willink, Executive Director Development Sunrock comments: &#8220;The partnership between Sunrock and Panattoni makes an active contribution to one of the most important challenges of our time: the transition to a future with clean energy production.
