Like the previous transport securing system, Roll-Safe visible consists of two highly durable plates that are attached to the sides of the roll containers to optimally protect the goods. Unlike the colored reusable solution, however, this development is made from solid material. “This is even more load-bearing and resistant to potential transport damage than the conventional honeycomb structure. The plate is practically indestructible,” says RS-Systems owner Martin K\u00f6llner. The reusable system can be used for years without wear. RS-Systems customizes Roll-Safe visible according to individual customer requirements, so the plates can, for example, be provided with a colored border and a customer logo. Changes regarding length or width are also not a problem.<\/p>\n
Roll-Safe visible accelerates quality and delivery control<\/strong><\/p>\n The transparent plate speeds up quality control at the ramp, as employees can immediately get an overview of the goods. “They can also see at first glance if goods have shifted and might fall out when opened,” explains K\u00f6llner. Many customers of RS-Systems GmbH use photo stations at the warehouse exit as proof of delivery for each roll container. Opening the containers is now unnecessary thanks to Roll-Safe visible. Additionally, the time required for picking is further reduced due to the transparent reusable solution, as the roll container can be handed over more quickly within the warehouse with the goods yet to be picked. The labor-intensive and back-straining wrapping of containers with single-use film is eliminated anyway.<\/p>\n Transparent reusable solution available in both Roll-Safe variants<\/strong><\/p>\n Roll-Safe visible is available in both the “Roll-Safe flexible” and “Roll-Safe fixed” variants. The latter is permanently attached to the container with a hinge tape and thus becomes a fixed component. The flexible variant is hooked onto the vertical struts of the roll container using four hooks. This allows the system to be quickly removed and just as quickly reattached. Upon request, the plates will now also be provided with a QR code. This allows trading companies to check at any time where and how many plates are in circulation. This facilitates returns management. Only in spring 2023 did RS-Systems launch Roll-Safe with an enlarged opening on the sides of the plates.
