{"id":63446,"date":"2023-11-21T18:29:19","date_gmt":"2023-11-21T17:29:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.brand-architecture.at\/2023\/11\/21\/nippon-express-europe-implements-sustainability-with-cozero\/"},"modified":"2023-11-21T18:29:19","modified_gmt":"2023-11-21T17:29:19","slug":"nippon-express-europe-implements-sustainability-with-cozero","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/loginfo24.com\/en\/2023\/11\/21\/nippon-express-europe-implements-sustainability-with-cozero\/","title":{"rendered":"Nippon Express Europe Implements Sustainability with Cozero"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5><strong>Nippon Express Europe GmbH (hereinafter &#8220;NX Europe&#8221;), a subsidiary of the global Japanese logistics provider NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC., will realize the implementation of its sustainability goals in collaboration with the Climate Tech startup Cozero from Berlin.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(D\u00fcsseldorf\/Berlin) In its effort to reduce CO\u2082 emissions by 50 percent by 2030 compared to 2013 (Scope 1,2), the parent company NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, Inc. submitted a commitment statement for certification according to Science Based Targets (SBT) in May 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The collaboration between NX Europe and Cozero resulted from Cozero&#8217;s comprehensive, transparent, and agile end-to-end solution, which holistically considers both logistical and non-logistical emissions and supports the forecasting and planning of decarbonization measures.<\/p>\n<p>Within a few weeks, Cozero&#8217;s Climate Action Platform was implemented at 30 European locations of the company for reporting on Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions. As a result, NX Europe can now implement tailored local reduction strategies in accordance with the SBT.<\/p>\n<p>Olaf Zimmlinghaus, Executive Director &#8211; General Affairs and Finance EMEA at NX Europe, said: &#8220;Achieving our sustainability goals to combat climate change holds a special significance within the NX Group. Our clearly defined sustainability goals are not only deeply embedded in our operations but are also subject to continuous monitoring of success.
