Honold’s commitment to sustainability is not just a promise to the environment, but also to its customers. The company continuously works to improve its ecological approaches and find innovative ways to become greener. This approach reflects the growing awareness of the importance of sustainable corporate governance in today’s world.<\/h5>\n

(Neu-Ulm) Honold has been operating PV systems on its rooftops since 2010. With these PV systems, a part of its own electricity needs has been covered and additionally fed into the grid. This has resulted in a saving of over 28,000 tons of CO2.<\/p>\n

Each year, Honold generates more green electricity with its PV systems than the company itself consumes. Where no own electricity can be used, Honold meets the demand by purchasing 100% natural electricity.<\/p>\n

This is another step towards greater sustainability. This climate natural electricity is generated 100% in environmentally friendly hydropower plants. To ensure this absolutely, only suppliers that offer a T\u00dcV-certified product with the exclusion of double marketing of green electricity are considered. A supplier has now been selected and committed through a selection process.<\/p>\n

Reduction of the ecological footprint<\/h5>\n

Such an approach significantly reduces the ecological footprint of Honold and its customers and supports the transition to renewable energies.<\/p>\n
