The World Solar Challenge will begin there at the end of October 2023. In this unique race, 31 teams will cover the 3,000-kilometer route from Darwin through the Australian Outback to Adelaide solely using solar power.<\/h5>\n<p>(Lauterach\/Z\u00fcrich) To ensure that the high-tech vehicle can start on time at the other end of the world, Gebr\u00fcder Weiss is providing a tailored logistics mix of land transport as well as sea and air freight.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As a global logistics company, we are drivers of intelligent transport solutions and actively shape the mobility of tomorrow,&#8221; says Frank Haas, Head of Corporate Brand Strategy &amp; Communications at Gebr\u00fcder Weiss. &#8220;The solar car from aCentauri is pioneering and has the potential to revolutionize the transport sector. That\u2019s why we support the team on its way to Australia.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The students have been working for nearly a year on the development and implementation of this solar car. Designed for durability and maximum energy efficiency, it symbolizes the vision of an environmentally friendly future. &#8220;Winning the race is one thing. Our concern beyond that is to actively participate in the development of efficient and ecological solutions,&#8221; explains Alexandr Ebn\u00f6ther, Team Manager, aCentauri. &#8220;With the support of Gebr\u00fcder Weiss, we can prove that solar-powered cars and thus sustainable mobility are possible.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h5>First stage with hydrogen truck<\/h5>\n<p>Alternative drives are highly valued at Gebr\u00fcder Weiss.
