Wolfgang Niessner, the former and long-serving CEO of Gebr\u00fcder Weiss, was appointed as the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Gebr\u00fcder Weiss during the constitutive Supervisory Board meeting of the logistics company on June 19. Niessner succeeds Dr. Rudolf Christian Stiehl, who held the position for the last four years.<\/h5>\n

(Lauterach) Dr. Stiehl will leave the Supervisory Board of Gebr\u00fcder Weiss after a total of 21 years as a representative of the shareholders. With the appointment of Wolfgang Niessner as Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Gebr\u00fcder Weiss is relying on an outstanding leader with a long and highly successful career in the logistics industry. Niessner served as CEO at Gebr\u00fcder Weiss since 2005 and led the company into an era characterized by consistent internationalization and economic success. At the end of 2018, he handed over the management of the operational business to Wolfram Senger-Weiss and was appointed to the Supervisory Board in 2019.<\/p>\n

Significantly Contributed to Success<\/h5>\n

The outgoing Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Dr. Rudolf Christian Stiehl, has significantly contributed to the success of Gebr\u00fcder Weiss during his long tenure. The company sincerely thanks Dr. Stiehl for his contributions and wishes him all the best for the future.<\/p>\n
