(Berlin) This was reinforced at this year’s general meeting of the association with the presentation and discussion of the activities from the last financial year, which were defined as the basis for future work.<\/p>\n
The communication of knowledge about Combined Transport is at the heart of the association’s activities, and a close involvement of the stakeholders across the entire intermodal transport chain is an essential component. The association will actively drive these topics forward in the future, and the office is well-equipped with many tools and projects for this purpose.<\/p>\n
Additionally, the voluntary board of SGKV has been expanded by one more member, Mr. Thomas Schlipk\u00f6ther, who was re-elected for another term as a member of the board of SGKV in his new role as CEO of RELA AG.<\/p>\n
The positive development of the association in recent years is to be further strengthened, and the general meeting looks forward to the committed collaboration of the expanded board for the strengthening of Combined Transport, together with the team of the office.<\/p>\n
SGKV consolidates the competencies of the Combined Transport industry for a targeted, factual, and continuous development of Combined Transport, in order to “jointly address the challenges for the future performance of the system, which provides an essential, reliable contribution to more sustainable freight transport. The members of SGKV are convinced that much convincing work still needs to be done in other areas for the realization of meaningful measures and goals,” said Clemens Bochynek (executive board member of SGKV).<\/p>\n
