Since early February, the container inland vessels have been operating on the Rhine between the West ports and various inland ports. Specifically, these are: MS Alfa Grande with a capacity of 398 TEU, MS Alfa Bianco, and MS Alfa Menta, each with 336 TEU.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Given the rapidly changing inland shipping landscape and the increasingly limited vessel space, we are adapting our strategy to the new circumstances. Our goal is to invest in securing our capacities through long-term partnerships, thereby guaranteeing sustainable transport security for our customers,&#8221; says Stefan H\u00fctten, Chief Development Officer (CDO) at HSL. The two container inland vessels MS Alfa Grande and MS Alfa Bianco will operate on the Lower Rhine between Neuss, Duisburg, Emmerich, Antwerp, and Rotterdam. MS Alfa Menta will take over the route between Andernach and Antwerp as well as other Middle Rhine and Lower Rhine stations.<\/p>\n<p>Sjoerd Knipping, founder and managing director of Delfia Inland Shipping, looks forward to the collaboration: &#8220;We are proud to have signed such a long-term contract for the chartering of three vessels.
