By acquiring Global Freight Connections (GFC) based in Basildon, the globally operating logistics company Schneider, headquartered in Basel, is strengthening its activities in the English market and the Greater London area.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

(Basel) The medium-sized freight forwarding company GFC was founded in 2002 by Paul Marshall and offers a wide range of logistics services: high-quality solutions in land transport across Europe, sea and air freight, as well as for general cargo, FTL and partial loads, express transport, logistics, and e-commerce. Customs services for Great Britain (Basildon\/Dover) complement the portfolio and are an important factor for the continental European branches.<\/p>\n

Contacts Have Existed for Some Time<\/h5>\n

Even before the acquisition, there was already active collaboration with various members of the Schneider Group, particularly with the French branches and with Glob-Sped in Switzerland.<\/p>\n

Martin Isler, COO Road of Schneider, noted: “Due to the already very good contacts at various levels, we know the corporate culture and professionalism of GFC and its employees. Therefore, we are convinced that together with GFC we can specifically further develop and expand our services in England.”<\/p>\n
