KG. Now, Sascha La\u00dfau is new to the leadership team. In the second quarter of 2023, he will take over the responsibilities of Detlef Helsing, who will retire at the end of the year. &#8220;We are pleased to have found the perfect candidate for us so early \u2013 this allows for comprehensive onboarding and a smooth handover,&#8221; says Detlef Helsing.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>30 Years of Logistics Know-How<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>From the ground up: Sascha La\u00dfau (51) began his logistics career with an apprenticeship as a freight forwarding merchant at Frachtenkontor GmbH in Duisburg. He then pursued a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Transport and Logistics. He gained his first management experience as Sales Manager for Contract Logistics at WM Group Bocholt. Subsequently, Sascha La\u00dfau moved to Schenker AG in Essen. Here, he worked for the last five years as a member of the management board with commercial power of attorney at the subsidiary Schenker Dedicated Services, where he was responsible for driving business development, developing, implementing, and operating global 4PL \/ LLP solutions, and managing operational, tactical, and strategic services.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Supporting Operational Growth<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Currently, Sascha La\u00dfau is getting acquainted with the administrative and commercial responsibilities of Rieck Systemspedition. &#8220;With his sales know-how and management experience, Sascha La\u00dfau will further advance the company Rieck both commercially and operationally,&#8221; summarizes Philipp Strenge, managing partner of the Rieck Logistics Group. &#8220;This way, we are focusing on both stability and perspective in the management.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sascha La\u00dfau is looking forward to his new role: &#8220;With the Rieck Logistics Group, I have found the ideal environment for myself \u2013 the company is developing dynamically, and I want to make a central contribution with my background.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Rieck Logistics Group is consistently continuing its operational growth trajectory. With the commissioning of the new Berlin location in Oberkr\u00e4mer, the forwarding division has significantly expanded its capacities, thereby reaching a new scale for the entire company.
