On September 27, around 40 logistics marketing and HR professionals from across Germany gathered for the first “B\u00c4M!-Camp” organized by the Wirtschaftsmacher. In discussion rounds, presentations, and networking, the focus was on how the economic sector is addressing the skilled labor shortage, how logistics can become more visible, and how it can digitally reach younger people.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

(Bremen) “B\u00c4M!” was a frequent theme at the first event of its kind organized by the Wirtschaftsmacher \u2013 figuratively speaking. About 40 marketing and HR experts from logistics came together on September 27 at the first B\u00c4M!-Camp at the House of Logistics and Mobility in Frankfurt am Main. In several working groups and varied formats, the participants exchanged their experiences, discussed, and also questioned established communication mechanisms.<\/p>\n

High Dynamics, Creativity, and Fun<\/strong><\/h5>\n

“We deliberately chose the term ‘B\u00c4M!’, which most people associate with comics, to encapsulate the high dynamics, creativity, and also the fun of exchanging ideas on an equal footing,” explains Wirtschaftsmacher spokesperson Frauke Heistermann. “‘B\u00c4M!’ also stands for the many aha moments we experienced during the event. For example, that in communication, the de-digitalization of certain processes could become more important because some analog processes retain their value; that corporate influencers play an enormously important role for companies and how little they are currently utilized in practice; or how young target groups can be excited about a career in logistics through targeted campaigns.”<\/p>\n

In three camps, the topics of Digital Communication, Live Communication, and HR Marketing were addressed. Participants learned about best cases from other contributors and exchanged insights on the learnings. In addition to discussing trends and developments in marketing communication, networking was particularly emphasized in three formats designed for direct exchange, such as World Caf\u00e9, Fishbowl, and Marketplace.<\/p>\n

Taking a Lot Away from This Day<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The conclusion from spokesperson Heistermann: “Participants rated the event very positively and took a lot away from this day. We also received valuable impulses for the future work of the Wirtschaftsmacher and will certainly continue the event next year!” The event is intended to take place at least once a year and become a fixed institution for communication professionals in logistics around the topic of marketing communication.<\/p>\n
