The occasion for the open letter is the inquiry of the Federal Government, in which Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture Cem \u00d6zdemir will participate.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Berlin) The initiators of the letter are the German Frozen Food Institute (dti) and the Association of German Cold Storage and Refrigerated Logistics Companies (VDKL).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The food industry is currently experiencing the worst crisis since the end of World War II,&#8221; explain dti Managing Director Sabine Eichner and Jan Peilnsteiner, Managing Director of VDKL. &#8220;In particular, the energy-intensive medium-sized frozen and fresh food industry is facing an existential threat due to the energy crisis, with some even preparing for a possible insolvency. It is one minute to twelve!
