K\u00f6rber has signed an agreement to acquire the Enspire Commerce\u2122 omnichannel solutions from enVista, including financial auditing and payment services in global freight transportation (FAP). With enVista’s solutions, K\u00f6rber has an expanded portfolio to better support customers in addressing growing customer demands in the competitive retail environment.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Today’s consumer expectations require digital, integrated processes from order capture to delivery. Through this acquisition, K\u00f6rber, as a globally operating full-service provider, now consolidates (omnichannel) retail, logistics fulfillment, and transportation software from a single source. The combination of K\u00f6rber’s software expertise with enVista’s capabilities offers companies improved opportunities to align and digitize retail and logistics processes effectively.<\/p>\n

“K\u00f6rber is a technology partner in fulfillment and distribution for thousands of companies worldwide,” says Chad Collins, CEO Software in K\u00f6rber’s Supply Chain business unit. “The acquisition of the enVista platform enables our customers to gain visibility across the entire logistics cycle as well as across various demand sources and inventories. The freight monitoring and payment service (FAP) provides transport transparency and tracking that is not available in ERP or TMS solutions. Together with enVista’s CEO, Jim Barnes, and 400 logistics experts joining our company, we emphasize our ambition to become a global leader in logistics software through an integrated solution suite.”<\/p>\n

The Order Management System (OMS) from enVista, part of the Enspire Commerce platform, creates cross-channel order transparency and supports beneficial data transfer. This benefit is further enhanced by the combination with K\u00f6rber’s already established fulfillment solutions: customer requests can thus be fulfilled in real-time. Additionally, the microservices-based API-first headless architecture allows for rapid integration and scaling, especially in conjunction with K\u00f6rber’s cloud-based software solutions.<\/p>\n

The Enspire Commerce platform from enVista offers far more than just an order management system. It encompasses areas such as order fulfillment, inventory availability, store fulfillment, customer service, drop shipping, marketplaces, subscriptions, product information management (PIM), point of sale\/mobile point of sale (POS\/mPOS), mobile fulfillment, and shipping fulfillment.<\/p>\n

The FAP services from enVista will expand the capabilities of OMS and WMS in companies, enabling customers to achieve a new level of profitability, control, business intelligence, and user experience. By providing a single source for transport transparency while optimizing and controlling transport costs, enVista and K\u00f6rber pave the way for tomorrow’s supply chains to fully leverage the value of their transport activities.<\/p>\n
