The focus is on routes along the Middle Corridor of the historic trade route, which runs through Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan to China. This route is geographically shorter and connects directly to services that Gebr\u00fcder Weiss operates daily between Western and Southeastern Europe, Turkey, and Tbilisi (Georgia). Gebr\u00fcder Weiss&#8217;s logistics centers in Tbilisi and Almaty (Kazakhstan) will serve as hubs for freight traffic. From there, goods will continue via sea, land, or rail transport along the New Silk Road to Central Asian countries or all the way to China.<\/p>\n<p>The company is preparing for strong demand for transport capacities and will immediately offer more truck transports on this route. &#8220;We expect that with the opening of Chinese borders due to the easing of COVID restrictions, the demand for road transport will increase. Thanks to long-term contracts with reliable regional transport partners, we can offer our customers sufficient cargo space, regular services, and acceptable transport times,&#8221; says Thomas Moser, Director and Regional Manager Black Sea\/CIS at Gebr\u00fcder Weiss.<\/p>\n<p>For over 20 years, Gebr\u00fcder Weiss has been supporting industry and trade in the growing markets along the historic trade route with transport and logistics solutions. The foundation is its own branches in Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and China. From there, Gebr\u00fcder Weiss organizes direct connections between Europe and Asia, as well as transports within and between Central Asian countries.
