On May 5, Philippe Wahl, President and CEO of the La Poste Group and Chairman of GeoPost, announced the appointment of Yves Delmas as Chief Executive Officer of GeoPost\/DPDgroup and Executive Vice President of the La Poste Group and member of the board.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Yves Delmas has 30 years of experience in the La Poste Group. He has held several leadership positions in the company’s parcel and express subsidiaries, including Chronopost and Jet Worldwide. He also served as Managing Director, Deputy Chairman, and then Chairman of SEUR, GeoPost’s subsidiary in Spain, which under his leadership became a leading company in the local Spanish express market. In May 2016, he was appointed Managing Director Europe of GeoPost\/DPDgroup.<\/p>\n

After the tragic death of Boris Winkelmann in December 2021, Yves Delmas took over the management of GeoPost\/DPDgroup on an interim basis.<\/p>\n

\u201cTogether & Beyond 2025\u201d<\/strong><\/h5>\n

As CEO of GeoPost\/DPDgroup, with a revenue of nearly 15 billion euros and 2.1 billion parcels delivered in 2021, Yves Delmas will be responsible for the further implementation of the “Together & Beyond 2025” strategy. The strategy aims to make GeoPost\/DPDgroup an international leader in sustainable delivery and a leading driver for e-commerce.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, Philippe Wahl stated: “Yves Delmas has made a significant contribution to the development of GeoPost, which has become the largest parcel delivery network in Europe. Under his leadership, GeoPost will consolidate acceleration and development in strategic areas while continuing its international expansion.” <\/em><\/p>\n

Yves Delmas said: “Thanks to our DNA, which draws its strength from our employees, as well as our sustainability model and entrepreneurial spirit, we are now ready to intensify our development and accelerate the implementation of our strategic plan. This will be our guiding principle in addressing the challenges and opportunities in our market.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Biography of Yves Delmas<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Yves Delmas, 59, studied at the Institute of Political Studies (IEP Paris) and at the Ecole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure des PTT (1988), holds a DESS Master’s degree in public law from Paris X Nanterre and a degree in history from the Sorbonne. Yves Delmas began his career as head of the “Europe – Asia” office in the international affairs department of La Poste. In 1991, he was appointed Director of Operations at Chronopost France. In 1993, he became Deputy Chairman of TNT, a company in which La Poste held a minority stake. In 1996, he successively took over the management of Jet Worldwide France, a subsidiary of Chronopost France, and in 1998 of Chronopost Spain. Between 2002 and 2004, he was Director of Marketing and Sales at GeoPost SA. In 2004, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of SEUR GeoPost and subsequently became Vice President and President of the SEUR Group, a leading company in the Spanish express market. In May 2016, Yves Delmas was appointed COO Europe of GeoPost\/DPDgroup.<\/p>\n
