For 20 years, Grieshaber Logistics Group AG from Bad S\u00e4ckingen has been providing logistics services for the Business Line Silica at the site of the specialty chemicals company Evonik in Rheinfelden. In February 2002, the new logistics concept began with the takeover of central warehouse functions and daily (365 days) production disposal from the plant in Rheinfelden in two shifts, as well as worldwide shipping handling in Hombourg\/Mulhouse.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

(Bad S\u00e4ckingen\/Rheinfelden\/DE) In addition to the logistics services, which have grown enormously over the past years, new tasks have also been continuously taken on over the 20 years. Among other things, the service was expanded in 2015 with the takeover of internal logistics services (365 days \/ three shifts) directly at the plant in Rheinfelden. The number of pallet movements has now reached millions since the opening of the logistics center.<\/p>\n

The basis for such a long-term and successful collaboration is the continuous generation of added value.<\/p>\n

  • Cost optimization while simultaneously increasing flexibility and scalability<\/li>\n
  • Increase in delivery reliability and delivery dependability while simultaneously reducing complaint & damage rates as well as<\/li>\n
  • Increase in process safety & transparency through a system-supported paperless processing and integrated use of a forklift control system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
