Additionally, interesting lectures on the topic await visitors on the two exhibition days, March 30 and 31, 2022.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Mendig) A major event focused on electric mobility in freight transport at the airfield in Mendig on March 30 and 31, 2022. With informative lectures and exciting presentations, industry experts from FUTURICUM, the Economic Service Goods and Logistics GmbH (WGL), the logistics financial service provider JITpay<sup>TM<\/sup>, the Emil Frey Group, Omexom, the insurance group KRAVAG, Sauerl\u00e4nder Werkzeuge, and the intralogistics provider STILL share their experiences and tips on achieving the right balance between ecological and economic benefits. Weick Consulting will present an independent funding consultancy relevant to the topic.<\/p>\n<p>The main attraction is the E-trucks from Futuricum, a brand of the Designwerk Group from Winterthur, Switzerland. They will showcase the world record vehicle from DPD in Mendig. With Europe&#8217;s highest capacity electric truck, the three partners DPD Switzerland, Continental, and Futuricum set the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS\u2122 title for the longest distance traveled by an electric truck without intermediate charging. Moderated by Elinde de Vries from Itsmydrive, keynote speakers Johnny Nijenhuis from Nijenhuis Consulting and Christina Scheib, ambassador for women in freight transport, will address the audience.
