The directive is crucial in ensuring fair transport in Europe. It guarantees the remuneration of drivers according to the standards of the host country where the transport service is provided. Now it is up to the member states to implement this directive as quickly as possible and to monitor it efficiently.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Florence Berthelot, General Delegate of the FNTR: &#8220;With the new legal framework for cabotage and the &#8216;cooling-off phase&#8217;, we have a tool in hand to stop unfair market practices by prohibiting the circumvention of cabotage regulations. We must vigorously enforce these provisions.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h5>More Enforcement Required<\/h5>\n<p>Prof. Dr. Dirk Engelhardt, BGL Board Spokesman: &#8220;We are already observing positive market reactions to the Mobility Package and noticing that companies are settling closer to the markets they serve.
