The goal is fully automated pallet transport between the new hall and the high-bay warehouse. Installation of the solution will begin on January 10, 2022, and is expected to be completed by April 2022.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Neuenstadt\/Buxheim) The contract includes the mechanical, electrical, and control connection to the existing conveyor system and the connected high-bay warehouse. As part of the investment, Kardex Mlog will install around 80 conveyor technology drives, a steel construction platform of approximately 140 square meters, and a vertical conveyor with two pallet storage locations in Buxheim. Additionally, a programmable logic controller of type S7-1500 and one fire protection and machine protection door each will be included.<\/p>\n<p>One of the challenges of the project is the construction of the steel platform, which will connect the new and existing halls. &#8220;Part of the platform will naturally run through the existing hall, whose operation must not be disrupted by the installation,&#8221; emphasizes project manager Lars Wagner. All work will be carried out during ongoing operations. Kardex Mlog has been a supplier to the Nagel Group since 2010, one of the largest food logistics companies in Europe.
