Hellmann Worldwide Logistics was awarded the Otto Heinemann Prize for “Work-Life Balance in Professional Care” at the 8th Berlin Care Conference. The award, which is under the patronage of Federal Minister of Economics Peter Altmaier, honors companies with innovative concepts to support employees who care for relatives in need of care alongside their professional activities.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

(Osnabr\u00fcck) The family-owned company Hellmann, founded 150 years ago, impressed in the category “Employers with 251 to 5,000 Employees” with its preventive and proactive concept: The compatibility of family and work has always been firmly anchored in Hellmann’s corporate philosophy and is a central component of the HR strategy. Particularly due to demographic developments, the company has developed a variety of supportive measures for affected employees in recent years. This not only concerns the care of seniors but also the support of children with disabilities. In addition to flexible working hours and extensive home office arrangements, the company grants additional vacation days for the care of relatives and offers numerous counseling services as well as emergency care specifically for children with disabilities.<\/p>\n
