This recognition is the result of the strategic efforts of the international logistics provider to proactively take responsibility for the long-term ecological, economic, and ethical aspects of its business activities.<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Cambria',serif;color: #555555\">(Hamburg) Until now, individual business areas had been evaluated. In 2021, the HOYER Group underwent the rating process for the first time as a whole company. The bronze medal reflects the strong positioning of the HOYER Group within the industry. In comparison, more than 40 percent of participating logistics companies received no award at all. \u201cWe are proud of the positive result,\u201d says Eric Schlichter, Manager Group Sustainability Forum at HOYER, \u201cand we use the analysis from the independent EcoVadis experts to improve even further.\u201d The results of the rating guide the sustainability team of the HOYER Group to continuously identify further optimization potentials and initiate additional activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Cambria',serif;color: #555555\">Social responsibility, environmental protection, and sustainable business practices are fundamental pillars of the HOYER Group&#8217;s corporate actions. Therefore, sustainability considerations play a leading role in all business areas and links of the supply chain. In 2012, the company established binding sustainability guidelines, and since 2015, it has published a Sustainability Report. A dedicated area, Group SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality), exclusively focuses on improving processes, safety, and quality standards with regard to people and the environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b><span style=\"font-family: 'Cambria',serif;color: #555555\">Reliable Benchmark <\/span><\/b><b><\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Cambria',serif;color: #555555\">EcoVadis is one of the world&#8217;s largest providers of sustainability ratings and evaluates companies according to international sustainability standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and ISO 26000. For customers and other stakeholders of the HOYER Group, the EcoVadis rating provides a reliable benchmark for assessing the company&#8217;s corporate social responsibility efforts. They can view the results in a rating overview on the EcoVadis platform.
